During this year’s winter holidays, those who celebrate Hanukkah will have a new place to celebrate in New York City.

A Hanukkah themed bar will be popping up for the first time!

Time Out NY reports that, “award-winning bartender Naomi Levy launched Maccabee Bar in Boston back in 2018.”

On December 13, the bar will pop-up at Ollie West Village at 64 Downing Street.

At the bar, there will be Hanukkah themed drinks like the Latke Sour (apple brandy, potato, lemon and tobacco bitters) and the Hebrew Hammer (vodka, “leavened” sugar, lemon and raspberry), an homage to jelly donuts commonly eaten during the holiday.

Latkes (potato pancakes) and other bites will also be offered.

The bar will be open through December 31, Tuesdays through Saturdays. During Hanukkah week, December 18-26, it will be open every night.
