From time to time I like to write about fast food, primarily focusing on international McDonald’s locations. (I most recently wrote about a McD’s holiday item I need to try.)
I’ve also written about Pizza Hut and Jollibee, a Filipino chain a few times. Let’s not forget about Shake Shack, my favorite fast-casual burger chain.
For those of you who are fans of Wendy’s, I have a deal for you!
For a limited time, Wendy’s is offering a Frosty Key Tag for $2.
This isn’t just any key tag, it has some special bonus offer powers. Purchasing a Frosty Key Tag qualifies you for a free Junior Frosty for a full year!
This deal sounds a bit too good to be true so of course there’s got to be a catch. To get your daily (free) fix of Frosty Juniors, you’ll need to make a purchase at Wendys.
I’d still consider this $2 purchase an excellent deal if you like Frostys for a couple of reasons:
- A Junior Frosty costs 99¢, so after 2 redemptions you’re already breaking even minus a couple of cents.
- 85% of the money raised from the key tags go to a good cause. The money gets donated to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption to help children waiting in foster care find forever homes.
Some Rules:
- Frosty Key Tags are available for purchase until 1/31/22
- Redeem for free* Junior Frostys from 1/1/22- 12/31/22
Key Tags valid from 1/1/2022 – 12/31/2022. One free Jr. Frosty per transaction with any purchase. Cannot be combined with other offers.
Final Thoughts:
Overall, I find this to be a very solid deal, especially since it’s for a good cause.
I more than likely won’t be purchasing a Junior Frosty Tag since we rarely dine at Wendys. However, if we happen to stop into one during our trip during winter break, then I might consider purchasing one to support the cause.
