Vacation home rental site VRBO is giving one lucky winner a beach vacation of their choice worth $5,000!

The contest is pretty interesting. The winner gets a travel allowance to use towards booking their airfare and accommodations.

While I’m not a big fan of beach vacations, I’d still love to win this prize. A $5,000 travel allowance would go a long way towards booking a very nice trip for my family!

The Prize: A $5,000.00 travel allowance to be used for airfare and vacation rental accommodations in a beach destination of your choice.

Some details: (from the T&Cs)

• This is not a cash prize
• In the event the winner’s trip uses less than the full $5,000.00 travel stipend, Sponsor may provide winner with the remaining balance via Expedia Rewards points. 
• If you are not an Expedia Rewards member, you will need to create an account prior to prize being awarded.
• The Rewards points will be deposited within six weeks and will expire one year from the date of the deposit.  

The Rules:

• Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, DC and Puerto Rico who download the Vrbo application on their smart phone or mobile device
• Must be at least 18 years old at the time of entry
• You can earn up to 4 entries into the sweepstakes
