Friends Will Be In Movie Theaters For 25th Anniversary

FriendsEarlier this month I wrote about how Friends, one of the most popular sitcoms of all time would be getting a pop-up in NYC.

Now another way to celebrate the show was recently announced. Next month, Friends will be coming to theaters for a limited time.

For just three days (September 23 & 28 and October 2), twelve Friends episodes will play in over 1,000 movie theaters!

Entertainment weekly reports that the episodes “have been newly remastered in 4K from the original 35mm camera negative. Each screening will feature exclusive interviews and never-before-seen content.” Pretty cool!

Here are the episodes which will air:

Night 1: Pilot –ReDo, The One With The Black Out, The One With The Birth, The One Where Ross Finds Out

Night 2: The One With The Prom Video, The One Where No One’s Ready, The One With The Morning After, The One With The Embryos

Night 3: The One With Chandler In  A Box, The One With Ross’s Wedding – Part 2, The One Where Everyone Finds Out, The One Where Ross Got High

If you’d like to pickup tickets to see Friends on the big screen, they’ll be going on sale on August 16. Tickets can be purchased from Fathom Events. (The cost to attend wasn’t listed.)

If you’d like to get in on the Friends celebration without spending any money (and live in NYC), check out this attraction that I stumbled across here.
