Actress Jennifer Garner, best known for the TV show Alias and various movies, had to be rescued while out kayaking with her 12 year- old daughter in Sweden.

The actress was kayaking in Stockholm when she got lost at sea during her vacation.

Garner shared some details about her adventure on Instagram. She said that, “On a pre-middle-school sneak away with my eldest… Did I get us lost in a kayak? Yes. Did we paddle as hard as we could for 100 hours and end up in a shipping lane? I’m afraid so,” according to People Magazine.

Jennifer Garnger and her daughter Violet ended up getting rescued by a guy named Mattias. She shared a photo with him on her Instagram story thanking him.

There weren’t any other details related to how long Garner and her daughter were lost at sea or how they were rescued.

Garner is set to star in a show on HBO called Camping which is a comedy “about trips in the great outdoors going awry“.

Maybe Garner’s real- life adventure was practice for her upcoming role!
