It’s been a while since I last checked my American Express accounts to see my Amex Offers.

I tend to check less frequently these days due to a lack of exciting offers sent my way.

I recently received an interesting offer on both of my American Express card accounts. With the offer, I can get $60 back when I spend $300 with SPG.

The way the offers works is that you need to first add the offer to your credit card. Then, you’ll receive a $60 statement credit when you spend $300 or more,”on room rate and room charges, when you pay for your stay with SPG Hotels and Resorts from 6/15/18 to 9/4/2018. See terms for exclusions.”

I initially thought that this offer might be a good option to use for one of the countries we’ll be visiting over the summer but then I noticed that it is only good at properties in the US and US territories.

Some Rules:

• Offer only valid on room rate and room charges.
• Offer not valid for lodging stays that are paid for before the promotion start date or after the promotion end date.
• Limit of 1 statement credit(s) per American Express Card across all American Express offer channels.
• Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 9/4/2018, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase.

Did you receive this deal from Amex Offers? If so, do you plan to book a stay with SPG due to it?

I’d love to take advantage of this 20% off discount but I’m not confident that I’ll have a need for a domestic SPG stay before the offer expires.
