Have you ever had a chance to take part in a flight simulator experience? I haven’t and am curious to find out what it’s like!
Jim Parker- That is odd to receive it a week after the contest ended. The only way you’ll know is if you win the prize! Good luck!
I just gone of the the invitations to participate in the contest today, December 1st. It’s a little late since the rules say that the contest ended on November 23rd. Can’t tell if the contest was extended and the rules not updated, or if the e-mail was sent too late. I’ll probably never know.
MaryE- That sounds amazing!
Michael Fullmer- I had a similar issue and opened the link in an incognito window and then had no issues. Give that a try and let us know if it works!
Michael SK Mitchell- Very cool! Will your son-in-law’s 747 be a part of the Reagan Library?
I am a commercial pilot and flight instructor who would love a chance to try Boeing’s simulator. My very first flight student is now a senior captain for United airlines and flies the 777 to India. What an experience that would be for me. My son-in-law is part owner of an older 747 which is being made into a museum of AirForce 1 of the Reagan era.
I received the email but none of the links were active. Not sure what to do now.
I have here in Shanghai, China. One with a pilot who trains company pilots. We flew to Tibet in 45 minutes and back. I was researching whether this simulator was a viable option to teach my Grade 10 grade ESL students about sequencing control movements. It wasn’t as there was limited space. But I had a blast. The students are instead learning to operate flying drones using a program called Tickle.
