Rapper and Hip Hop star Lil Wayne had a seizure during a flight causing his private plane to make two emergency landings yesterday.

Wayne was flying from Milwaukee to California when the seizure took place.

The plane diverted to Omaha, Nebraska where members of the fire department came onboard. Wayne initially refused treatment. The plane then took off again before needing to land again when he “continued to have medical issues“.

Lil Wayne was taken to the emergency room of CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center. According to Yahoo, he’ll spend at least one night at the hospital.

A similar event took place back in 2012 when Lil Wayne’s private jet had to make an emergency landing in Texas. His rep initially said that Wayne was treated for severe migraines and dehydration. Months later he had seizures on the set of a music video. Then two weeks after Wayne “revealed that he had epilepsy“.
