JetBlue, One of Top 10 Places to Work in America

JetBlue

When I read that JetBlue opened a boutique hotel for its employees last year, I figured that it had to be a great place to work. (They also have JetBlue University, a training campus for the company.)

A few weeks after reading of the new employee hotel, I found out that JetBlue was considered by Forbes to be one of the top 25 companies to work for in the country!

This year the airline has done even better!

In a press release that I received from JetBlue, they are proud to announce that they were named a Top 10 Place to Work in Forbes’ ‘America’s Best Employers of 2016’ List.

JetBlue came in ranked 8th out of 500 companies nationally. They also ranked first in the category transportation and logistics.

According to the press release, “The annual Forbes ranking honors employers based on an independent survey asking how likely employees would be to recommend their employer—and other employers in their respective industries—to someone else“.

The airline’s CEO Robin Hayes attributed the airline’s culture and crewmembers as the reason for their success.

The airline is also a company that many would love to work for. JetBlue received over 140,000 job applications last year. They were only able to hire 5 percent of them though.
