If you love all things Mickey & Minnie and are having trouble finding love, then a new dating site might be for you…
There are dating sites which specialize in matches based on race, religion, for single parents and many other things.
We can now add Disney lovers to the list.
MouseMingle.com launched earlier in the week by a former Disneyland engineer named Dave Tavres. According to Fortune.com, “he told Los Angeles Magazine that he created the website because he “found it hard to find women who were as interested in Disney as [he is].”
The dating site is not affiliated with Disney.
When registering, the site asks new members which parks are closest to them, if they have an annual pass “and if they’re looking for a romantic relationship, friendship or Park Pal“.
Matches aren’t based on looks or the usual interests. Questions members are asked to answer are all related to Disney- favorite songs, shopping habits and nerd level.
While it’s free to look at photos and profiles, if you want to contact someone it will cost $12.55 per month. Fortune mentions that ” the 55 is a homage to the year the Anaheim park first opened“.
So what do you think Mickey fans? Could this be a way to find a match made in Disneyland?! (My guess is that this couple would’ve thought so.)
