Zombies seem to be quite popular these days thanks in part to one of my all-time favorite shows, The Walking Dead. The show is back this Sunday, October 11 for season 6.

Due to the show’s popularity, a companion series and something of a prequel debuted this summer called Fear the Walking Dead. It’s short first season just ended and I’d say that it was very good but not quite the level of the original.

You might be wondering, what do zombies and Walking Dead have to do with travel? Not a whole lot, however…

A new web series debuted on October which takes place on a plane called Fear the Walking Dead “Flight 462”.

Flight 462 will consist of 16 episodes, each less than one minute long.

According to AMC, “Fear the Walking Dead “Flight 462″ tells the story of a group of passengers aboard a commercial airplane during the earliest moments of the outbreak. Over the course of the series, the plane and the lives of its passengers are put in jeopardy once they discover an infected traveler.”

Sounds like an interesting concept to me and one that I plan to follow.

I watched the first episode and I can’t say that much happened but it definitely started to set the premise for what will take place over the course of the series.

The way the show will air is interesting too. The episodes will debut every Sunday on amc.com and then as on-air promos during episodes of The Walking Dead. So, you can either watch it online or on your TV.

Another catch is that one character from the web series, will join the cast of Fear the Walking Dead for season 2.
