Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there. If you happen to be flying with Southwest Airlines today Sunday, May 10 there’s reason to say an extra cheers.
In my opinion, Southwest has some of the friendliest and most helpful employees when it comes to airlines…
They’re also still pretty giving since they still offer free checked bags on flights.
In what other ways does Southwest still offer a freebie?
While Southwest offers free beverages on flights and a small snack, they do charge a fee for beer, wine and liquor. At $5 per drink it’s actually a pretty fair price.
However, on select dates during the year, the airline is nice enough to offer “Drinks On Us“.
If you’re flying during the holidays and are of age, they’ll give you “a drink on the house“. This is definitely a nice gesture and something that Kim and I have taken advantage of in the past.
Southwest will be offering a free drink for Mother’s Day on May 10, 2015. If you happen to be flying with them, make sure to get your drink and enjoy the day!
