Alaska Airlines wants to reward those of you that currently have their Visa Signature cards with a special offer.
To say thank you, enjoy free checked bags for a limited time on upcoming flights.
Wow… How about throwing in some bonus miles or something!
This offer isn’t open to all Alaska Airlines credit card holders. You’ll need to have their consumer credit card (non-business).
Consumer card holders will receive a free checked bag from February 1 through April 30, 2015 on any Alaska Airlines flight.
Some other rules:
- Everyone traveling in the same reservation as the card holder, will get their first checked bag free, too.
- “Reservations must be on flights marketed by Alaska Airlines and operated by Alaska Airlines, Horizon Air, SkyWest or PenAir”

I’m gonna go with big deal and I don’t mean it in a positive way. They could’ve at least made this a new card benefit not just a temporary one.
