Southwest isn’t known for it’s luxury or lounges, but they do have Porches in three cities around the country.
The Southwest Porch isn’t found at any airports, they are located at public parks in Atlanta, Dallas and New York. The porches sound like a nice place to relax, recharge and chill out if you happen to be in the area. They offer comfortable seating and FUN perks, nestling in a local park.
Southwest Porch Locations:
- Park Tavern- Atlanta, GA: Located in Piedmont Park, offers skyline views and comfortable seating along with food and beverages for purchase.
- Klyde Warren Park- Dallas TX: Enjoy views of the Dallas skyline, free WiFi and comfortable seating. There will be a lunch and dinner menu offered by Relish.
- Bryant Park- New York City: Sit in rockers, swings and Adirondack chairs to relax while you get to charge your electronic devices at provided power outlets. You can purchase drinks and snacks at ‘wichcraft.
Hours at Southwest Porch locations vary.
Besides the porches, Southwest also has Ice Rinks in Atlanta and Denver. Being that it is summer time I won’t go into those now.
