While Uber does tend to be pricey they do run some fun promotions and also try to do some good. Throughout the month of March, they will be donating $1 per ride in NYC to one of 6 charities with Ride for a Cause.
This promotion is a partnership between 6 local charities.
A charity of your choice will receive the donation as long as you enter the appropriate promo code when reserving your Uber car.

On April 1, the charity with the most rides in March will get an additional $10,000!
If you’re a Uber rider in NYC don’t forget to enter a promo code for the charity of your choice each time you take a ride!
How to Help:
- Enter the promo code in the Uber App
- Only good for uber X, UberBlack or UberSUV in NYC
- For each ride that you enter a promo code throughout March, Uber will donate $1 to the charity you selected
