This is a reminder that the 11th annual openhousenewyork (OHNY) weekend starts tomorrow, October 12-13. Tours and sites open for access all around the New York City area, many which are usually closed to the public.
I’ve participated in a few of the previous OHNY weekends and really enjoyed the tours. If you are in the New York City area this weekend, I definitely recommend that you try to take part.
Reservations for many of the events are required for a $5 fee. Many of them sold out shortly after becoming available on October 2. However, there are still lots of tours and workshops available which do not require reservations including things which should appeal to kids too!
I wrote about our plans to visit the TWA Flight Center at JFK Airport on Sunday. We were also thinking of visiting another site or two which do not require reservations but this won’t be fitting into our schedule due to something else that came up.
