Mets Pitcher Helps Subdue Unruly Passenger On AA Flight

New York Mets reliever LaTroy Hawkins was flying from Dallas-Ft Worth (DFW) to Santiago, Chile (SCL) on a dove hunting trip when he stepped in to help the flight attendants with an unruly passenger.

American Airlines Flight 945 had to make an unscheduled landing in Lima, Peru at 4am. Hawkins and another passenger helped subdue and then escort a troublesome passenger off the plane.
