Early in 2016 I wrote about a very interesting and potentially useful communications network coming to New York City called LinkNYC.

When looking forย wifi during our travels, Kim and I used to seek out McDonald’s. They were usually a reliable place to go if we wanted to get online. In recent years I’ve found McDonald’s wifi to not be as consistent with many locations not even offering free wifi.
Another place to stop in for free wifi is Starbucks, although I can’t recall ever going there to get online. (I also don’t drink coffee so why would I!)
