A Long Junk-Foodie Layover in Los Angeles

On the way to the Pacific, the Michael W Travels family had a long layover in Los Angeles. During our time we had to deal with The Most Expensive Luggage Storage Ever.

I booked our flights from JFK to LAX and LAX to NAN using points on different airlines.  We chose  to have the long layover in Los Angeles since we didn’t want to take a chance on missing our international flight.  We initially figured that it would be a good opportunity to wander around LA.

Qantas A380 Floods, Returns To LAX

Kim, Lucas and I were sitting in a local fast food joint in Omaha, Nebraska yesterday when a scary story came on the news.

A Qantas A380 flying from Los Angeles to Melbourne had to return back to LAX an hour into the flight due to a water leak which caused flooding onboard. The news story showed footage of the plane with water flowing down the aisles. It was definitely a sight that I never want to see in-person. Continue reading Qantas A380 Floods, Returns To LAX
