Chef, traveler and television personality Anthony Bourdain might not be making much progress in opening his massive food market in NYC.
However, he did launch another new project related to his Emmy winning show Parts Unknown.
The show airs on CNN, featuring Anthony Bourdain visiting destinations all around the world. A new website recently launched as a companion to the show, called Explore Parts Unknown.
Gothamist describes the site as “a multimedia-driven upgrade to the show’s previous online component.”
The site has guides for a bunch of different cities. Each one has an intro from Bourdain along with clips from the corresponding episode. There are also “personal photo essays from contributors about their experiences in these cities and countries.”
The new site is a collaboration with Roads & Kingdoms, a travel journalism site that Bourdain invested in almost two years back.
Parts Unknown airs on Sundays and new episodes will kick off later this month. The new website will be updated on Thursdays before new episodes air.
Do you watch Parts Unknown? Are you interested in checking out a companion website? I might give it a look.
