In the middle of April I wrote about a way to get $20 off of your bill when paying with the OpenTable App.
This deal seemed like a no-brainer but Pay with OpenTable ended up being a real pain. The app kept crashing on my phone and I couldn’t ever view my bill through it. After a few calls, I was told by OpenTable that they would apply the coupon code and I’d also hear back from them to follow up. The rep also said that they would do something for me due to all of my troubles…
Almost two weeks later, I never heard from OpenTable but I also never saw my dining bill turn up on my credit card statement. Maybe their way of apologizing was by covering my bill!
Just in time for Mother’s Day, you can once again save $20 on your dining bill when using the Pay with OpenTable option.
Here is how the offer works.
- Make a reservation and dine at a restaurant which accepts the Pay with OpenTable option from May 4 through 11:59 pm PT on May 10.
- When prompted to view your check in the app while dining, make sure to enter promo code: lovemom
- That’s it- you’ll now have a $20 credit good towards your bill!
Some things to consider:
- Just remember, this offer is only good at restaurants which accept the Pay with OpenTable option which can be quite limited at the moment…
- If you decide to give this promo a try, I just hope that you don’t have the same difficulties that I did when trying to use it a couple of weeks back.
Other Rules: (from OpenTable)
- $20 credit is only valid for a dine-in meal paid for via Pay with OpenTable
- Offer is non-transferrable and cannot be combined with any other promotion or coupon code.
- Only one $20 credit may be redeemed per person.
- OpenTable reserves the right to change or terminate this offer at any time without notice.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of the United States.
I’m debating whether or not I should give this offer a try again, I’m just not sure it’s worth the headache that I went through if I have the same problem again.
