Many of you may have realized that I am a big fan of lists- Top 10s, 20s you name it and I am interesting in seeing what made the cut… As long as it is a topic that I’d like to find out more about, that is.

I came across an article on Buzzfeed featuring 27 Surreal Places To Visit Before You Die.
The article was right up my alley. Being that its travel related I was curious to see what places made the cut. I was also curious to see if I had been to any of the places mentioned.
The article has incredible photos of some fascinating places. Of the 27, I have been to three from the list. We almost went to one other during our trip to Japan (in Kyoto) but decided to visit a different site.
Rather than list all 27 Surreal Places mentioned by Buzzfeed, I’m going to mention the three that I’ve been to along with a few others that I’d most like to visit in the future.
The Three That I’ve Visited:
1- Ancient Region of Anatolia in Cappadocia, Turkey
2- The Grand Canyon in Arizona, United States
3- Glowworm Caves in Waitomo, New Zealand
