Kim and I have visited breweries and taken tours all over the U.S. and the world, so I think that this would be an amazing trip to take part in. A few years back I did a quick trip to Belgium with my brother and we had a great time trying out tons of local beers. During the trip, we had an impromptu beer tasting and checked out an unusual food museum.

Travel Channel is giving away a $100,000 trip to Spain and Morocco or a cash prize in the form of a check.

While the trip sounds great, I don’t think that I’d be able to pass up the cash prize. I’ve been to Spain & would love to go back and Morocco has been a place that I’ve wanted to visit for quite some time. However, I can’t imagine paying taxes on a $100,000 trip.

Last May we spent a few days in New Orleans. I had been there once before but didn’t have time to do a whole lot besides try some beignets and a hurricane. This time around I was able to spend some time wandering around, check out the sites and enjoyed the amazing dining scene around the city.

It’s been a while since I last ran a giveaway so it’s about that time again…

I’ve only had the chance to use internet during flights a handful of times but when I did, I found it to be pretty awesome. However, there are a few reasons why I’ve rarely been online while up in the air.

  1. I don’t want to pay the price to surf (although I am starting to believe that it might be worth it depending on the lenght of the flight).
  2. I’m usually too tired when I fly to be bothered.
  3. Lucas needs our attention, plus the laptop takes up some of the precious little space allotted to us since we usually fly in coach.
