Back in April I wrote about a very nice targeted offer from Southwest where Kim was given some free Rapid Rewards points as well as two 20% Off codes good for flights booked with points.

Well the time is running out as to when the codes can be redeemed and we have one code left and nothing to do with it. As luck would have it, we’re about to book two short trips with Kim’s remaining Rapid Rewards points but both dates fall after the valid travel dates. Shark Week starts airing on Discovery Channel on August 10. During the summer, Discovery is giving Southwest passengers  a “sneak peek at the excitement of Shark Week 2014. Exclusive inflight content can be viewed on Southwest Airlines WiFi-equipped aircraft.”

In honor of this partnership, Southwest and Discovery started running the Dare to Dive Sweepstakes in the middle of July. I just found out about it in an e-mail from Southwest and thought it was worth sharing.
