For those of you looking to book flights into early Spring 2024, here’s some great news…

Southwest Airlines has extended their schedule!

The airline sent out an e-mail announcing “Our schedules is now open through April 8, 2024.”  

The Michael W Travels family used to be frequent Southwest flyers but that’s changed over the past 5 or so years. Our Companion Passes expired so it’s much less of a deal to fly with the airline.

Over the past couple of years, we’ve flown Southwest a couple of times. In February 2022, I got a pretty good deal on a flight to Fort Lauderdale. A delay on the way home resulted in $300 in vouchers which we used for a flight to Denver in May of this year.

While we don’t think we’ll be frequent flyers of the airline, I still look at Southwest as a potential option for our future trips.
