The US Bank Altitude Reserve is my go to card for mobile purchases. The card earns 3X points on all mobile payments which is pretty sweet!
While the card comes with a pricey $400 per year annual fee, its offset by a $325 annual credit good on travel and dining purchases. The credit essentially makes the card $75 per year and well worth holding onto.
From time to time US Bank sends out offers to earn bonus points.
I just received an offer where I can get 2,000 bonus points for adding an authorized user to my account.
According to the e-mail offer, “Rewards really add up when you add a family member or someone you trust as an Authorized User to your account. You earn points on their purchases, plus 2,000 bonus points if you take action by November 15, 2021.”
Some Rules:
- Add the authorized user by November 15, 2021
- Bonus will be credited 2-3 billing cycles after 11/15
- The bonus can only be earned one time regardless of how many authorized users you add
While I’d like to get the 2,000 bonus points, it’s really not an overly exciting offer.
I assume that they do a credit check when you add an authorized user since they ask for the person’s social security #. I’d rather use a credit pull for a new credit card bonus for Kim rather than this.
What do you think about this offer from the US Bank Altitude Reserve card?
