Various businesses have been offering perks for showing your COVID-19 vaccination card.
From what I can recall, Krispy Kreme started it off by giving a free Original Glazed doughnut when you showed your vaccination card. Junior’s in Brooklyn, offered those those vaccinated a free mini cheesecake. Shake Shack is currently giving away free fries with a purchase.
United Airlines wants to get in on the fun of rewarding those vaccinated by running a sweepstakes with some incredible prizes.
When you upload your vaccination card to your United Airlines account, you’ll be automatically entered for a shot to win one of 35 prizes! To qualify, you’ll need to upload your card by June 22.
Here are the prizes you’ll be entered to win.
The Prizes:
5 Grand Prize winners will receive
- One year of free travel to any of our global destinations in any class of service for themselves and one companion traveling with them
30 Winners will receive
- A roundtrip flight for two in any class of service, anywhere United flies
The Rules:
- Open to legal residents of 50 United States, DC, PR, USVI & Guam
- Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry
- Enter your vaccination card by 11:59:59p.m. ET on June 22, 2021
How To Enter: (from contest rules)
Online Method: During the Sweepstakes Period, visit United.com (the “Website”) either sign into your MileagePlus® account or enroll by accurately completing the online MileagePlus® enrollment form then follow the instructions below:
- Go to the “Profile and Preferences” page for your MileagePlus account.
- Select “Upload vaccination record” under “COVID-19 vaccination documentation.”
- Upload your vaccination record and accept the terms.
- Enter the information as it appears on your vaccination document.
- Press “Submit” to save your information to your MileagePlus profile and be registered for the sweepstakes
Mobile App Method: During the Sweepstakes Period, visit the App to either sign into your MileagePlus® account or enroll by accurately completing the in-App MileagePlus® enrollment form then follow the instructions below:
- Sign in to your MileagePlus account and from the My Account page, select “Add record to my profile.”
- Upload your vaccination record and accept the terms.
- Enter the information as it appears on your vaccination document.
- Press “Submit” to save your information to your MileagePlus profile and be registered for the sweepstakes.
Final Thoughts:
This is a very generous sweepstakes being offered by United. While I’d love to win the grand prize, I’d also be thrilled to win one of the regular prizes. I’m already dreaming of where I’d choose to fly (in a premium cabin)!
