A little over a year back I wrote about how the first Cartoon Network Hotel would be opening in the summer of 2019.

It’s now November 2019 and the property has yet to open. However, there is some good news…Bookings are now open for the property.

The thing is that reservations won’t be available until June 2020! When I did a quick search, the first date available was June 2, 2020.

It appears that the Cartoon Network Hotel will be opening almost a year after the original expected opening date…

In the middle of October, we took a trip to Lancaster primarily so the kids could visit the Dutch Wonderland theme park. It’s a fun park, good for young kids probably in the 2-10 age range.

When we pulled up to the park, the first thing that caught our eye was the the Cartoon Network Hotel, located right next door. My 7 year old Lucas was excited and asked if we were staying there.

I had to break the news to him that we weren’t and that the hotel wasn’t even open yet. He then asked if we could come back and stay there when it opens. I would like to check out the Cartoon Network Hotel but it is quite pricey.

With rooms starting at $289 per night, I’m not sure that we’ll splurge on this hotel.
