Interesting Wyndham Rewards Timeshare Offer I Won’t Be Booking

wyndham rewardsA few months back I wrote a post regarding a Wyndham Rewards timeshare offer.

With the offer, I could book a 3 day, 2 night stay for 15,000 Wyndham Rewards Points at one of four pre-selected properties.

I didn’t go for that offer but just a few months later Wyndham Rewards has sent out another similar offer. However, this time there are nine properties to choose from making it a bit more enticing.

15,000 Wyndham Rewards Points for a two-night stay can be a pretty decent deal. The thing is that it also means that you (and your spouse if married) must attend a 120 minute Club Wyndham timeshare sales presentation.

Kim and I have done a bunch of timeshare presentations over the years to get some sort of freebie or deal. The last time we did one was around one year back and it was the worst one we ever did.

The sales rep didn’t listen to a word we said, had an answer (right or wrong) for everything and wouldn’t let us go! It was evident we wouldn’t be making a purchase but he kept going on and on, trying to guilt us into making a bad decision.

Due to this, I’d be less inclined to do timeshare presentations unless the deal really seemed worthwhile.

Here are the nine Wyndham properties we could stay with through the offer:

  1. Wyndham Palm-Aire – Pompano Beach, FL: $197
  2. Wyndham Austin – Austin, TX: $112
  3. Wyndham Kingsgate – Williamsburg, VA: $95
  4. Wyndham Branson at The Meadows – Branson, MO: $95
  5. Wyndham Ocean Boulevard – North Myrtle Beach, SC: $95
  6. Kona Coast Resort – Kailua-Kona, HI: $221
  7. Waikiki Marina Resort at the Ilikai – Honolulu, HI: $169
  8. Wyndham Canterbury at San Francisco – San Francisco, CA: $247
  9. Wyndham Grand Desert – Las Vegas, NV: $202

From the properties listed above, I’d be interested in going to Austin, San Francisco and Las Vegas. However, I think I could come up with other options using points without having to torture ourselves by going to a timeshare presentation!

The price per night value of booking the San Francisco property seems like a good deal (close to $500 for two nights for 15,000 points) but we wouldn’t fly to SF for such a short visit.

Have you received any interesting timeshare offers? If so, did you book the offer?

  1. I stayed at the Canterbury SF on points for two nights, nice property & good value on points, but not worth the cash price.
I got an offer of 30,000pt on property to attend timeshare presentation and did that, so I staid for free. Better deal than the offer described here, but might not be a sure thing.
Had same offer at Donatello SF (hotel is not as nice as Canterbury).
    I reviewed the Canterbury here:

  2. Hilton Grand Vacations gave us 5 days 4 nights at the Hilton Orlando over Halloween plus 40000 Hilton points and a $200 stay voucher for a Hilton Garden Inn. Room is normally $300 per night. Got the whole package for $199. Super excited to go to Universal Orlando.
