In 2018 there was a Hilton Grand Vacations offer we couldn’t refuse. We also saved around $300 in Fiji for 1.5 hours of our time the previous year.
I just received an offer where we can get a 3 day/ 2 night stay at various destinations for 15,000 Wyndham Rewards points.
Up until a few months back, 15,000 Wyndham Rewards points got you a one-night stay at any of their properties in the world. More recently, three award tiers were introduced with an award night costing 7,500, 15,000 or 30,000 points.
With this timeshare offer, I could get two nights at the lowest award price. The catch is that I’d have to attend a 120-minute Club Wyndham timeshare presentation.
I decided to Google each property to get a general idea of the cost per night.
Here is what I found:
- Wyndham Grand Desert (Las Vegas): from $86 per night
- Waikiki Marin Resort at the ilikai: from $155 per night
- Wyndham Canterbury at San Francisco: from $183 per night
- Kona Coast Resort: from $134 per night
Besides Las Vegas, I’d say that you are getting a solid value for 15,000 Wyndham Rewards points. The only issue is that 2 hour long presentation.
I wouldn’t go out of my way to book this offer but if I happened to need a room for a couple of nights in San Francisco, Waikiki or Kona, I’d consider it.
Some rules: Transportation, gratuities, parking fees, room taxes ($10-$260), meals not specifically advertised and incidentals are not included.
What do you think of this timeshare offer- deal or no deal?
