Game of Thrones ended a couple of days back and it’s been one of the hottest topics.
I’ve been asked many times if I watch the show.
While I can’t say that I’ve ever seen an episode, I have visited various sites (in Malta and Northern Ireland) which happened to have been featured in the show.
If you’re a Game of Thrones fan, you might want to take a trip to Split, Croatia.
A new museum inspired by the show recently opened up.
Lonely Planet mentions that, “the newly-opened museum comprises of 300 square-metres of interior space and shows over 100 exhibits.”
A huge dragon head breaking through a wall is the welcoming attraction.
There are five rooms with exhibits which include helmets, swords, skulls, costumes, city models and more.
You can take a guided tour led by experts who know all about the show, books and details related to filming.
We’ve yet to visit Croatia. When we do, I might consider visiting the museum. Even though I haven’t seen the show, the museum sounds really awesome!
The Game of Thrones museum in Split is located at Bosanska ulica 9. It’s open daily from 9AM until 10PM.
