Man Falls Off Cruise Ship Trampoline, Suing Royal Caribbean

Cruise ships offer a wide variety of activities to keep guests entertained during their trip.

One passenger’s fun time while aboard Royal Caribbean didn’t end on a happy note. 26 year- old Casey Holladay was on a cruise to the Bahamas aboard the ship Mariner Of The Seas when fun ended in pain.

While on the “Sky Pad”, “a bungee trampoline activity“, according to USA Today, the harness Holladay was fastened to disconnected while he was 20 feet up in the air, sending him falling onto the ship’s deck.

A video of the events was taken by Holladay’s girlfriend who shared with NBC6.

Holladay is now suing Royal Caribbean for $75,000. Based on the injuries he allegedly suffered, it doesn’t even sound like much.

USA Today mentioned that he’s faced “life-threatening pelvic fractures and other injuries” due to the incident, according to the suit.

Besides suffering emotional and psychological damages from the incident, Holladay’s also became disabled. Physical issues include having plates and screws in his pelvic area and other injuries which will allegedly require lifetime medical care.
