A Delta Air Lines flight was heading from Maine to Atlanta when one passenger made some scary threats.
The passenger, a man at the back of the plane was threatening to take the plane down. Soon after, a couple of other passengers stepped in to restrain this lunatic.
An ex- corrections officer on the flight, James Tunnell heard a lot of noise at the back of the plane. He said that “one of the passengers was punching the [overhead seat] lights,” and passengers were telling me he was wanting to take the plane down.”
The man locked himself in the bathroom and Decker than ran to the back of the plane to help out. Another man who is in the Coast Guard joined him in helping the flight attendants get the man back to his seat.
Decker and the other passenger restrained the man (flight attendants gave them handcuffs) even after he tried biting them. The duo then stayed by his seat until the plane landed.
Once the plane landed, other passengers clapped and Delta Air Lines even thanked the two heroes out.
