Kim recently received an offer in the mail where she can earn up to 5,000 bonus American Airlines miles.
With the offer, she needs to hit a certain amount of spend on her AAdvantage Aviator Red credit card.
Here is how the offer works:
Before we continue, I want to mention that this offer is targeted. The T&Cs state, “Offer is valid for select cardmembers and is not transferable”
The first thing you need to do is to register for the offer at AviatorMastercard.com. (You can also register over the phone by calling 866-928-3075.)
For October, November and December, Kim needs to spend $2,000 or more with her Aviator Red card. For each month where the required spend is met, 1,000 bonus American Airlines miles will be earned. If the $2,000 spend for all three months is met, then 2,000 additional bonus miles will be awarded
If you don’t hit the required spend level for all three months, you’ll still get the 1,000 bonus miles for each of the months that you do.
As usual with these kinds of offers, the bonus miles earned are in addition to the miles you always earn when using your card.
While I love receiving offers to earn bonus miles, this one doesn’t excite me. To earn the max bonus, you need to put a minimum of $6,000 of spend on your Aviator card. If you complete this offer, you won’t even be earning 2 American Airlines miles per $1 spent.
Did you receive this offer from the AA Aviator Red credit card? If so, do you plan to try to earn the bonus?
