I just received a “private offer” where I can earn up to 25,000 Delta miles.
The way the offer works is that for each SkyMiles partner I earn with, I’ll receive 1,000 bonus miles (with a max amount of 25,000 Delta miles).
This is a targeted offer and is not transferable to others. To start earning the bonus, you need to register for the offer if you received it.
According to the T&Cs:
“Registered SkyMiles members will earn a bonus of 1,000 miles for every new participating partner they earn miles with between October 16, 2017 and December 31, 2017 up to a maximum of 25,000 bonus miles per member. The term “New” refers to a partner the member has not earned miles with during the period January 1, 2017 to October 17, 2017.”
I found it odd that I received an e-mail about the offer on October 20 although it already started as of October 16.
There are a lot of SkyMiles partners to earn miles with. There are airline, credit card, hotels & Airbnb, ground transportation, cruises & vacations and dining, retail & specialty SkyMiles Dining & Shopping. You can check out a list of all of the partners here.
I’m thinking of trying to earn some of these bonus miles, especially since I didn’t see any minimum spend required for any of the partners.
Did you receive this offer? If so, do you plan to earn some of the bonus Delta miles?
