If you’re looking to get Global Entry and are in the New York City area, you’ll have another option for where to go for the enrollment interview.
When Kim, Lucas and I enrolled in Global Entry, we went to JFK Airport. Kim and Lucas enrolled the same day and it was impressively fast.
Soon you’ll be able to enroll at Penn Station for a limited time!
United Airlines is having a Global Entry enrollment event at Penn Station which might be a good option for many of you. (It might be useful for us if we decide to get Theo Global Entry however JFK is still closer to home.)
The event will start on June 26 and go through July 28, 2017 in the United Airlines Ticketing Office at Penn Station. Appointments will be available Mondays through Fridays from 8am to 4pm.
Here is how the event works: (from the United e-mail)
- After you complete your Global Entry application and are conditionally-approved, you can schedule your interview through the GOES scheduling system.
- Search for UNITED16 to schedule your appointment at Penn Station.
- Upon approval, enter your nine-digit PASS ID into your MileagePlus® profile and any existing flight reservations to qualify for TSA Pre✓® benefits on your next flight.
- Be sure to provide it to any company or agency that books flights for you.
Would you be interested in enrolling for Global Entry at NYC’s Penn Station? For us, it’s still probably easier just to head to JFK Airport since it’s a 20-30 minute drive from home.
