I’ve never seen the movie Snakes On A Plane but it appears that the movie played out recently during an Aeromexico flight.
On Sunday night passengers flying from Torreon to Mexico City had a slithering visitor show up during a flight.
In a video that ABC News posted to Twitter, the snake can be seen hanging from the ceiling at the back of the overhead bin. Seconds later, the green snake drops almost all of the way down before the video cuts off.
According to ABC News, “the plane was given priority landing in Mexico City, where workers secured the reptile“.
It isn’t known how the snake got onboard but the airline is investigating to make sure that it doesn’t happen again.
My guess would be that it could’ve been a passenger’s emotional support animal. Maybe the passenger forgot to let the airline know that they planned to bring their snake onboard much like when a passenger failed to tell the airline about his emotional support marmoset! (BTW- No, I’m not serious…)
What would you do if you saw a snake hanging from the ceiling of a plane?
