The holiday season is well under way. Between Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday and other sales, I hope most of you are close to done with your gift shopping.
The ridiculous amount of holiday music on the radio and in stores could drive just about anybody nuts so I won’t exactly mind when it’s all over.
Kim and I aren’t big on gifts but Lucas gets his fair share and I’m looking forward to the look on his face when he rips open each of his presents, getting loads of new toys!
A few days back, I received an e-mail with the subject Season’s Greetings from United Airlines.
I was hoping that United was offering me either some sort of sweet bonus offer or maybe even a gift of some miles.
However, what I actually got was wishes for a happy holiday and a thank you for flying with them this year. Definitely a nice touch from United to reach out and spread some holiday cheer.
United also included a link to a holiday card in the form of a short Youtube video. You can check out the video here.
I want to thank United for the holiday wishes. If I happen to make a video I’ll be sure to send it your way too.
I hate to ask or be pushy, but if I may- along with your holiday card, could you include a gift (of something like 5,000 miles) next year? Or better yet, how about you make some positive changes to MileagePlus?
This is exactly what’s wrong with blogosphere and FT – even when the airline does something nice, there’s a complaint post about it.
ptahcha- I wouldn’t call my post a complaint. It was more a joke with some suggestions for next year.
Ditto
Matt K- Cheers!
