Delta wants to give away a free flight to anywhere they fly to one lucky winner in the Delta Cloud Gazer Contest.

To have a chance to win the free flight you’ll have to play what Delta is calling “the world’s most boring game”. (After playing for a while I’d definitely agree.)

They’re even using the hashtag #Unbored for the contest.

Playing the game is just about as exciting as watching wet paint dry. (But think of the potential of winning that free flight!)

To enter Delta Cloud Gazer, you’ll need to do so through Facebook, Twitter or GooglePlus.

The game is on a boring blue screen (like the one shown above). You’ll click around looking for clouds to come by. As you click and tap the clouds you earn points. On occasion airplanes will also pass by dragging banners which have the name of various movies currently playing onboard.

I almost forgot to mention the irritating music that plays in a continuous loop!

If you are inactive on the game screen for more than 30 seconds, your game will end. However, when you’re at 15 seconds inactive, a countdown clock and ticker sounds will appear to alert you… Aren’t we lucky!

The Prize:

• One economy class ticket to anywhere Delta flies (ARV $3,460)

• Open to legal residents of the 50 United States & DC
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Enter by November 21 at 11:59 PM ET

Besides the game being so boring to play I find the prize, while generous a bit of a pain. I am not much of a fan of solo travel. Wouldn’t it be a whole lot nicer if Delta was giving away a pair of tickets! (I know, beggars can’t be choosers…)
