Here is a way to help out those that sacrifice so much and protect our great country- members of the military.

La Quinta is “making sure family members can stay at a nearby La Quinta® – free of charge – when visiting their loved ones who are undergoing treatment for illness or injury“.

LQ has partnered with Fisher House and their Hotels for Heroes Program.

How can you help?

La Quinta wants to double their support in the month of November and could use a little help. When you donate some of your LQ Returns points, they will match them, up to one million points!

This sounds like a great way to help some military families in need of some support (and maybe even show our thanks to them with this small gesture.)

After La Quinta offered the Play and Stay game last year, my bet is that many of you have odd numbers of LQ Returns points left over. Why don’t you put them to good use?

I used our free points from this promo for close to 3 free nights during our trip to the Mid-West in late June/ early July.. We have 4,525 LQ Returns points spread out between two accounts left which I will be donating to the Hotels For Heroes charity.
