La Quinta is upping the ante when it comes to their partnership with Southwest.

Between now and December 31, 2014, you can earn double Rapid Rewards points when you stay at La Quinta Inns and Suites.

The offer is good for qualifying stays at any La Quinta location. To earn the points you must be a member of both the La Quinta Returns and Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards programs.

According to La Quinta, “A stay is defined as one or more consecutive nights at the same hotel, even if intermittent check-in/check-out events occur“.

When checking in, you’ll need to choose whether you’d like to earn points with Southwest or La Quinta for that stay.

Staying at La Quinta comes with “free extras” including free breakfast, free high speed internet and more.
