I always loved how onesies looked on Lucas when he was an infant. On adults, I think that they are a bit ridiculous. However, one airline feels a bit differently towards this article of clothing.
Virgin Atlantic will become the first airline to offer an adult onesie to “Upper Class” passengers on select flights.
Virgin Atlantic collaborated with original Norwegian onesie designers OnePiece to offer 1,000 passengers a limited edition onesie. They will be made available on select night-time flights across their long haul network.
English model Amber Le Bon (daughter of Simon Le Bon of Duran Duran & supermodel Yasmin) was selected to model the new must-have airline sleepwear.
According to the Virgin Atlantic press release, Le Bon was the perfect choice to model the onesie with her British rock n roll and fashion roots perfectly complimenting the spirit of Virgin Atlantic and OnePiece.
The Virgin Atlantic onesie comes in a black color and has a “cheeky slogan” on the back saying “sleepy head“.
Passengers that are lucky enough to receive a Virgin onesie on a flight will be allowed to take their onesie home with them to enjoy.
What do you think of Virgin Atlantic’s introduction of a onesie- good idea or silly? I think it’s a bit ridiculous (yet funny) if you ask me!
