How would you like to take a trip to Outer Space?

I’m sure many of you would love to go but just can’t afford it and I doubt we could use airline miles to pay for it (unless you have 2,000,000 miles with Virgin to spare) .

Here is a way to potentially get a trip to space for $10! A regular ticket on a flight to space with XCOR goes for around $95,000.

A non-profit startup called The Urgency Network uses it’s connections to “offer donors unique experiences”. The model is pretty neat- donate $10 and get entered into a raffle to win a great prize.

Now a new campaign called Ticket To Rise will allow you to donate $10 and get entered for a shot to take a flight to outer space. (Money raised by Ticket To Rise will go to support Oxfam, PETA and the Voice Project.)

For every $1 million that the Urgency Network raises for the Ticket to Rise campaign, another seat on the space voyage will be added. So there could potentially be more than 1 winner getting on the space shuttle for $10.

Are any of you interested in flying to space? I’m not so sure how I feel about it and can’t say that it would be high on my list.
