The 7th annual National Train Day will take place this Saturday, May 10.
Events will be held around the country in hundreds of locations to celebrate the day.
Amtrak “invites you and your family to join us at an event near you to celebrate trains and train travel, and to share why Trains Matter to us all.”
I haven’t had a chance to make it to a National Train Day event but am hoping to check one out in NYC this year. Lucas really loves trains so I think he will have a blast at the event.
We’re planning to head to the event at New York’s Penn Station which takes place from 10AM- 3PM. I’m not really sure what to expect at the event. According to the site, activities feature train equipment displays, local exhibitors, model train displays, kid-friendly activities from Chuggington and much more!
