The 2014 New York Times Travel Show will be coming to the Jacob Javits Center in NYC at the end of the week. It will run from February 28 – March 2.
Over the past couple of years I’ve attended the New York Times Travel Show for 2 out of the 3 days. Each year I went to the industry day as well as one of the days open to the general public.
Check out a couple of recaps about the 2013 Show:
- Highlights: Travel Industry Day at the NY Times Travel Show
- Highlights: Day 2 of the NY Times Travel Show
I’ve also attended the travel show a couple of other times with Kim a few years prior to my most recent visits. We rarely found the information at the booths to be of much use (it seemed to be a little better in recent years) but we enjoyed attending some of the travel seminars. In the past we got to hear Andrew Zimmern of Bizarre Foods, Ian Wright from Globe Trekker, Patricia Schulz- the author of 1,000 Places to See Before You Die and more.
Admission Fees:
- General Admission: $17 per day
- Children 18 & Under: Free

So who plans to head over to the NY Times Travel Show? I am planning to attend one of the days unless something comes up.
