I didn’t have much time to celebrate or reflect on the 2nd birthday/ anniversary of the blog on Sunday. Kim, Lucas and I had a busy day taking part in openhousenewyork- visiting the TWA Flight Center and then went to visit some friends.

I started Michael W Travels on October 13, 2011 as a way to keep you informed about most things travel. I continue to write about a variety of topics with no travel-related topic being off-limits.

The second year of Michael W Travels brought some changes including a new header  and a new home as a member of the BoardingArea family of frequent traveler blogs.

Check out my first post as a member of BoardingArea to find out more about my blog. You’ll also find links to a bunch of my previous posts which will give you a good idea of what to expect to read here on any given day.

I want to thank everyone for all of their continued support and look forward to many more (great) years to come.

I also need to thank Kim for being an incredible wife, mom and a great editor and Lucas for being such a fun and loving little boy. We are so lucky to have such a great traveler that makes our trips even more special!
