Christmas is less than 10 days away and Santa is making final preparations for his biggest day of the year.
To help keep up to date with all that Santa is doing you can check out the Google Santa Tracker site!
Google’s Santa Tracker debuted 12 years ago as “a fun, educational and interactive way for fans to celebrate the holiday season” according to the site’s press page.
The site opened at the beginning of December with games, a place to practice coding & geography, learn new languages and for teachers to get info to teach their students about holiday traditions around the world. You can also check out the North Pole Airport!
The most interesting part of the Google Santa Tracker site happens on December 24 when you can track Santa’s progress all night long. You can even learn about some stops he makes along the way!
Santa’s Dashboard will show “the technology that powers his sleigh during his around-the-world journey“.
So what’s been Lucas and my favorite part of the Google Santa Tracker site so far? We’ve checked out some games, with our favorite being the Elf Jetpack which we came across today. I also liked checking out the interactive map which has short descriptions about holiday traditions around the world. The translations area is also a lot of fun and pretty entertaining.
Have you checked out the Google Santa Tracker site? If not, I definitely recommend that you do.
