From time to time I come across a contest being ran on Twitter by @Lufthansa_FCT (First Class Terminal).

In the contest, you answer a question (on Twitter) to enter for a chance to win a Lufthansa First Class Lounge Duck. Lufthansa ducks are collected by many and hard to come by since they are typically available only in First Class Lounges in Germany or for sale on eBay!

I was lucky to win a Lufthansa duck through a Twitter contest in September 2014.

My prize was pretty neat. A couple of weeks after being informed of my win, my King Duck arrived by mail. You can check it out here.

Since winning my prize from the Lufthansa First Class Terminal Twitter account, I’ve entered a handful of other times. A few weeks back I saw another contest being run for the FCT.

To enter you had to answer the question: Can you guess how many tons of Pata Negra are enjoyed in the FCT every year.

I had no clue how many tons of Pata Negra eaten each year at the FCT. Heck, I didn’t even know what Pata Negra was! (Yes I can see that it is some sort of ham or meat…)

I decided to enter the contest and guess an answer since it took all of 10 seconds to send the tweet. Here is what I guessed:

I found out a couple of days later that I had won another Lufthansa First Class Lounge Duck! My guess of 3 tons was close with the actual answer being 2.8 tons.

I’m guessing that my new duck will be arriving at some point within the week. I just hope that it isn’t the same duck that I had won the other time!
