It’s safe to say that most of us know lots of facts about the countries we are from. We might even know some facts about other well known countries too.
When it comes to the United States, my guess is that just about everyone knows that the country has 50 states, the capital is in DC, the national anthem is The Star Spangled Banner and our currency is the dollar. Most people could also name a bunch of our famous cities and landmarks.
But what do we know about lesser known countries around the world?
I came across a Buzzfeed article which shares “15 Crazy Facts About Some of the World’s Lesser Known Countries“. The article is based on a Quora thread.
I looked over the article and learned a bunch of new things. From Buzzfeed’s list of 15, there was only one fact that I had heard of before (not that I would’ve remembered it if not reminded by this article.)
While visiting Liechtenstein, I had come across the odd fact that it is the world’s largest producer of fake teeth.
