Southwest will be giving out a boatload of Rapid Rewards Points today.
They’ll be giving away 15 million points around the Dallas – Ft Worth area in “Tweet to Meet on the Street” events. The events are being held to celebrate the end of the Wright Amendment.
The points will be given away through scratch off cards with each having a value of between 1,000 to 25,000 points. Everyone that participates will be a winner!
To find out where to meet you’ll need to follow @SouthwestAir on Twitter. Once you show up at the event keep an eye out for the Southwest reps passing out the cards. You’ll have until December 31 to redeem your code online and there is a limit of one redemption per account.
The event will take place from today, September 27 through October 11.
Southwest shared the details for Day 1 on their blog Nuts About Southwest:
- 9:00 AM- SMU Boulevard- Tailgate
- 12:00 PM- Klyde Warren Park
- 7:00 PM- Trinity Groves
Entry is open to residents of Texas at least 18 years of age. You also must have an open Southwest Rapid Rewards account.
Those with a Southwest Rapid Rewards Credit Card will earn a bonus prize.
The prizes:
- Location Prize: 3,800 scratch off cards with prizes ranging in value from 1,000 – 25,000 Rapid Rewards Points
- Bonus Prize: a Rapid Rewards Drink Coupon or an In-Flight Movie Voucher. (1,000 bonus prizes are available, 500 of each prize.)
